Classes for over 55s
Healthy Ageing classes.
Strength, balance, fitness and flexibility in every session, in friendly classes run by our team.
- Leixlip
- Lucan
- Celbridge
- Maynooth
Four kinds of exercise, every class.
Walking is good for you, but on its own it does not cover everything as we get older. The key is variety, so each session works on all four.
Cardiovascular
Work that raises your heart rate, so everyday things like stairs, chores and hobbies stay easy to keep up.
Strength
Resistance exercises to help slow the loss of muscle and bone density that starts from our forties.
Balance
Balance and coordination exercises in every class, to keep you steady on your feet.
Flexibility
Stretching and range-of-motion work, because flexibility fades with age if we do not practise it.
